Hi, to create you own practice log just follow these steps :

    1. Create a new discussion with your name
    2. Tell us more about your short term and long goals for your piano journey
    3. Update your practice log everytime you get to practice piano
    4. Tell us how your practice session was, the good and the bad!

    We’re here to help!
Looking forward to guide you with your practice journey. 🎹

3.I started learning 2 days ago.

The beginner lessons are similar to those I learned before.

Hi everyone. My name is Pat. I started the course 3 days ago and have worked through a lot of the Beginner’s lessons on notation. My goal is not to use music notation, but follow the chord sequences of my favourite songs and accompany them.

I am a guitarist/uke player of over 60 years. Playing chords with my left hand is proving difficult, due to an accident last year. My hand was badly smashed and I cannot manage octaves.

I managed to learn Penny Street and Let it Rock in one lesson. Starting You Got the Blues has confused me very much. My right hand wants to play more than one chord per bar. My left hand moves automatically to the 4 notes of the blues riff of each chord. This is my guitar mind taking over. I will take Marine’s advice and slow this song right down to snail pace, until I can play it smoothly using just the root+5th and root + 6th of each chord. Once both hands are playing automatically, I might think about adding the extra notes with the left hand.
