Jon O starting Practice log.
I have just started the lessons and although I have some experience Im starting at the beginning with Cmajor exercises. I anticipate moving quickly thru the early sessions although I have already realized how much I need to go back and work on my arpeggios and inversions. I belong to a small group that sings at assisted living homes and my goal is to get good enough on 3 or 4 songs so I can start playing keyboard at the homes. I started my first practice and went thru 3 lessons and practiced my songs. I still need to determine best way to integrate lessons into practice routine.

yes it would be great if there was a way to generate practise sessions. I get the structure the Marine advocated of warm up, tech, songs etc but I stuggle particularly with dyslexia to focus, know when i should move on etc. Also trying to work out where to go from method – direct to songs, rock start, short course etc. I am just on my month trying this out and I think there is some great stuff but tyring to work out hou to best use it keep motivation and progress
