I would love to see the following explained
I would like to see the subject of voice leading explained. I know what it is but would love to see an explination on how to select inversions to make chord transitions smooth. Given a lead sheet a step by step method of which chords to play and using what shape. What do you do if there isn’t a common tone ? Most discussions on you tube tend to be poor in this regard. Using inversions makes chord changes less choppy with less jumping around but I think this is not the same thing as good voice leading. I would appeciate any help on this subject. Thanks in advance Chris
